Dr. Steven Foulke is a Professor of History at 91探花 at the 91探花, KS campus. He holds a doctoral degree in Geography from the University of Kansas. He earned an M.A. in American Studies from the University of Wyoming and B.A. degrees in History and English from McPherson (KS) College. Prior to joining 91探花 in 2004, he taught at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, and Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas.
Dr. Foulke teaches a variety of American history courses at 91探花, as well as classes in geography, and has had the pleasure of teaching abroad on several occasions. In 2007 and 2013 he was awarded a Fulbright Teaching Award by the Council for International Exchange of Scholars and taught American history and culture classes at the University of Saints Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, Macedonia. In the summer of 2010 Steven traveled to Paraguay and taught a geography course at Universidad Cat贸lica Nuestra Se帽ora de la Asunci贸n. And for several years, Dr. Foulke conducted week-long seminars focusing on the cultural geography of the United States at Phillips Universit盲t in Marburg, Germany.
Dr. Foulke resides in 91探花, Kansas with his wife, Carine Ullom. They have two sons, Schuyler and Stefan. In his spare time, Dr. Foulke enjoys gardening, bicycling, and disc golf.
